Our
Projects

  • Logistics group - North Midlands - £10m refinance

This expanding successful logistics and warehousing business had a raft of loans and asset finance built up over several years. Their principle bankers were not open to extending further facilities, and this was making keeping track of overall debt levels difficult and restricting further borrowing needed for growth. We worked with a Challenger bank who had supported previous clients for us to provide a full refinance of group debt plus a £2M cash headroom to allow expansion of facilities to match new customer contracts.

  • Biomass pelleting plant - Scotland - £3.5m finance

This young but fast growing business was not getting support from its clearing bank and had tried main stream asset financiers to finance a £3.5M ground source heat pump. The GSHP would generate heat for wood chip drying plus a new sales line taking waste barley grains from distilleries. We introduced a renewable focused French equity fund who financed the full installation. We then followed up with further funding of CHP engines and are currently seeking to refinance the whole plant which is now producing seven figure annual profits

  • Small Ticket equity raise - Wales - £350,000 crowd equity

An early stage engineering business with a unique waste heat recovery technology had found raising equity to commercialise manufacturing very difficult. Through our sister company, Crowd Funding Capital, we assisted the business with their business plan and investor presentation. This resulted in a successful equity raise of £350,00 at an attractive price. Since the initial raise existing shareholders have committed a further £1M to allow delivery of first commercial orders.

  • Land bridge to acquire and arrange planning approval

A well established large developer of Purpose Built Student Accommodation. The firm had an option to acquire land in Norwich with lapsed Planning. The aim was to gain planning for a 700 plus room PBSA block, but despite extensive market knowledge the developer was unable to raise the funds they required. We were able to access a Family Office who supplied a 90% loan to purchase price at circa £10M. Going forward the developer now stands to exit the site with a net £40M profit.
